GREEK AFRICANS is the African Nightcrawler, Eudrilus Eugeniae. They are our latest addition to the GREEK WORMS family, but aren’t quite ready for prime time just yet. They have a purple hue, and can become quite large! They are much longer than their European cousins and probably about the same width, but they like to be kept a bit warmer. Lower temperatures will kill them. Their skin isn’t as tough as their cousin’s either, but if you are cat fishing, these could be a nice solution on a hot summer night. Aside from being bait, GREEK AFRICANS are excellent composters, eating 1.5 times their body weight in food scraps every day!

GREEK SPARTANS is the Red Wiggler, Eisenia Fetida. These little worms aren’t used to bait, but can certainly be used as a food source for Tropical Fish! GREEK WORMS VERMICOMPOST is a living soil. Live microorganisms are now part of the biology of vermicompost. There, a symbiotic relationship will occur with your plants.
